Describe your style:
Fun!
How did you get started?
I was just honouring someone’s suggestion 🙂
Where do you get story ideas?
I have no idea :p I just like to write to share ideas that I think will help people live happier and healthier lives.
Pick one book of yours that kids should read:
I think that kids should read “Meme the Monkey Wins in Life” because the latest PISA survey revealed that kids in Singapore are more afraid of failure than their counterparts overseas. I would like to change this by redefining how society currently defines “failure”, “success” and “what it means to win in life” – I think that if we change our perspective individually and collectively, we can all live more meaningful, fulfilling, and impactful lives.
Tip for parents, how to help kids enjoy reading:
Read with them and ask them for their views along the way!
Tip for aspiring kidlit writers:
Just have fun!
Your big wish for kidlit publishing next year (2020)?
That the kidlit market will grow! If it does, I hope that it means that kids are spending less time in front of screens, and more time cultivating their brain and character by reading.
